How many times have you heard the phrase “Content is King”? When I started my business 4 years ago I would pull a face every time I heard that phrase. What does that even mean? How does Content Marketing Work? Fast forward to today. After spending 2 years focusing solely on Content Creation and Branding, I have to agree! Content is King!

One of my favorite things about content marketing, especially for a person like me who hates being salesy, is that you are not stuffing your offer down your client’s throat, instead, you are encouraging conversions by giving the customers the information needed for them to make an educated purchase decision.

Search Engine Optimization plays a fundamental role in bringing traffic to your business website. In order for you to rank though, you need consistent, optimized content that addresses topics that people are actually searching for. Content Marketing is what is going to get your website to start appearing on search engines!

It is also good to mention that the more content you have on your site, the more chance there is for visitors to stay on your website longer. A higher on-site time impacts your chance of ranking on search engines.
